Zouk beginner Bootcamp w. Flavia & Hoang (25th Jan 2026)
🌟Welcome to the world of Brazilian Zouk! 🌟
Hoang and I will introduce you to this beautiful dance with 3 hours of classes and 3 hours of zouk social.
During the class you will be introduced to the foundations of zouk: rhythm, connection, and some of the most important steps. Afterwards, you will have chance to practice what you have learned in a 3 hours beginner friendly zouk social, where you will also meet other members of our cozy Hamburg Zouk Family.
- No previous dance experience is required
- No partner needed (we switch in class)
- No special outfit needed: you do not need for special dance shoes, you can dance in socks, normal shoes, or with the dance shoes you already have.
Just come as you are and be ready to enjoy ❤️

Zouk Before Christmas (20th Dec 2025)
🎄 Time to announce the coziest party of the year! 🎄 With traditional Feuerzangbowle ❤️
Inspired by a beautiful weekender in Bonn, I decided to start this evening with a Workshop on the Quality of Touch in social dancing. I’ll focus on maximizing presence, sensitivity, and establish the right type of connection for different kinds of movements. We will mainly focus on the technical aspects of creating the best connection with the lowest effort 🤓, but I will also invite and guide you to approach social dancing with a different mindset 🧘♀️, bringing an aspect of novelty that will benefit your dance and allow you to experience something new also when you are dancing with partners you have already known for a long time.🥰
We highly encourage everyone to attend the workshop, not only because it is included in the price, but also because it’s a way of bringing everyone together and deepening our dance and social connections.
To keep up with the atmosphere, we will start the party with a Welcoming Hour, during which we encourage you to change partner every second song and to invite new people to dance. 🫂
We will play music with a clear beat and clear transitions to make it easier for newcomers.
Afterwards, we will play a variety of zouk and zoukable music of our choice, doing our our best to meet everyone’s taste. Georg will also play a live DJ set for us 🎧 while I will prepare a Christmas themed playlist 🎶💫
This time again, Georg 🎅 will make a Feurenzangbowle for all Zoukies to keep up with the Zouk Christmas traditions. We won’t have a Kitchen available, so please bring your own cup! 🔥🍷🎁
Finally, if you are having economic difficulties, we would like to offer the possibility to volunteer for us and get a free entrance in exchange for 1:15h of work collecting money at the entrance 💰. Please PM if interested, the first slot is already gone!

Parties of the Close Embrace Weekender w. Olga & Fernando
As Olga & Fernando are coming to town to teach us zouk in close embrace (see the full program below), we will have three parties to enjoy together.
All parties are included in the full-pass. If you do not have a full-pass, you can still join the parties by purchasing either a single party pass or a full party-pass.
The Friday and Saturday parties will start at 21:00h and are open-ended. The entrance fee is of 10 euros.
The Sunday social starts at 18:00h and ends at 21:00h and the entrance fee is of 7 euros.
DJ TouchZ (NL) will be DJ-ing for us during the parties.
The parties have themes. Dressing up according to the themes is not compulsory, but we love if you do!

Zouk Beginner Friendly Party
Let’s try a new initiative to welcome beginners and new zoukers in the community: a beginner friendly hour. During the first hour of the party:
- I will play music with a clear beat and clear ending of the songs to encourage you to change partner more often
- I kindly ask you to try to invite new people and change partner every 2-3 songs so that everyone gets to dance
After the first hour, you can do as you like, but maybe you can pay some extra attention to people sitting and waiting for long time 😊

- Legs & Hips Styling: Express Yourself with the Music Learn how to spice up your basic steps and bring playfulness and personality to your dance! Enhance your expressivity and connection to the music through fun and dynamic leg and hip movements.
